PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

PAYMENTS

We accept payment by Credit Card (MC/Visa), PayPal or bank transfer. Please contact us at grow@zunayoga.com so we can send you the appropriate invoice for your chosen payment method. Credit Card and PayPal payments incur an additional 4% processing fee. Any additional bank transaction charges, such as transfer or foreign exchange fees, are your responsibility. Please be sure to identify your transfer with your name, the date and the retreat or training for which you are registering.

DEPOSIT PAYMENT

In order to secure your place on a Zuna Yoga® retreat or Teacher Training, you are required to pay a $750 non-transferrable and non-refundable deposit within three business days after receiving confirmation of your acceptance. Our trainings are usually fully booked, and we cannot hold your spot without a deposit. It is important that you confirm your spot with us before booking your travel arrangements.

EARLY BIRD PRICING

To be eligible for the early-bird discount, your full balance payment is due 6 (six) months prior to the event. If the balance is not paid by the early-bird deadline, the regular pricing applies.

FINAL PAYMENT

In all cases, full payment for the retreat or Teacher Training must be received no later than 60 days before the start date to continue to hold your spot. In the case of any bookings made after this date, payment must be made in full at the time of registration. In the month leading up to the final payment date, you will receive multiple reminders to complete your payment. If we do not receive your payment on time, you will forfeit your deposit. There are no refunds or transfers of payments after the above deadline, due to the fact that we are required to make venue payments that are no longer refundable after this time.

TRAVEL CANCELLATION INSURANCE

It is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policy before making a reservation. Naturally, no one books with the intention of canceling or postponing their retreat or Teacher Training, but unexpected things do happen that can be beyond your control. We strongly recommend that you purchase travel cancellation insurance to cover any possible loss. Depending on the policy and conditions, travel cancellation insurance will pay for some or all cancellation fees. With most agencies, insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation. We recommend World Nomads travel insurance, designed by travelers for travelers, with coverage for more than 150 activities as well as emergency medical, lost luggage, trip cancellation and more.image 100732551 15373843

We receive a fee when you get a quote from World Nomads using this link. We do not represent World Nomads. This is not a recommendation to buy travel insurance.image 100732551 15423653

POSTPONEMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

If you have to cancel or postpone your registration with Zuna Yoga® Retreat or Teacher Training, please inform us as soon as possible. Zuna Yoga® does not offer refunds. If you cancel or postpone your registration altogether up to 60 days prior to the start date of your retreat or Teacher Training, you will forfeit your $750 event deposit. The remaining balance may be used as credit for another event within one year of the date of your confirmed cancellation. For last minute cancellations (less than 60 days prior to start date of your retreat) any fees paid will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

If Zuna Yoga® must cancel or postpone a scheduled retreat or teacher training date for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible and you may transfer your full payment to another retreat or training. Except in cases of Force Majeure (see below), you may request a refund of your payments to us, constituting a full settlement including your deposit. Zuna Yoga® is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled or postponed retreat or training, such as airline tickets, loss of work, visas fees and/or other costs associated with preparation for your trip.

Zuna Yoga® is excused from performance and shall not be liable for any delay in performance or non-performance, in whole or in part, when certain circumstances beyond our control arise, making performance inadvisable, commercially impracticable, illegal, or impossible. These include but are not limited to work stoppages, fires, civil disobedience, riots, rebellions, natural disasters, acts of God, acts of war or terrorism, actions or decrees of governmental bodies, disease or medical epidemics, pandemic or outbreaks, curtailment of transportation facilities preventing or delaying attendance by at least twenty-five percent of event participants, and similar occurrences. If Zuna Yoga®’s ability to hold an event has been so affected, we will promptly give you written notice and use our best efforts to resume performance. Upon receipt of such notice, all obligations shall be immediately suspended for the duration of such Force Majeure Event.  Zuna Yoga® will offer a credit / transfer of payments made to a future event within 24 months after the cessation of the Force Majeure event.

Zuna Yoga® reserves the right to hold any event at an alternate venue if required to maintain or improve the standard of accommodation or facilities offered. We will notify customers as soon as is possible if a change in venue should occur. No refunds or transfer to another event date will be issued for a change in venue.

EXCEPTIONS TO OUR POLICY
Due to non-recoverable payments for minimum required occupancy that we must make to venues to secure the type of accommodation that you appreciate, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including but not limited to natural disasters, inclement weather, acts of terrorism, illness, health conditions, medical or personal or family or work emergencies, or change of mind. If you cannot reach the retreat or training due to unforeseen circumstances such as strikes, weather circumstances, and missed, delayed or canceled flights, retreat and training fees are unfortunately non-refundable and non-transferable. If you arrive late or need to leave your retreat or training early, you will not receive any refund on the remaining time of your scheduled stay.We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance. While we are sympathetic to your life circumstances, we cannot make exceptions to these policies.

STUDENT PARTICIPATION POLICY

We reserve the right to remove a participant from the program if their behavior is disruptive, they show signs of mental instability, if they are a danger to themselves or others, if they fail to maintain 100% attendance, or lack the skills necessary for participation in the teacher training. Incomplete or inaccurate information on the application may also result in dismissal from the program. In the event of dismissal, any refunds of tuition will be at the sole discretion of Zuna Yoga®.  No refunds will be made for travel, meal or accommodation packages booked.
