Gili Meno is the quietest and least developed of the Gili Islands, with only 300 inhabitants and a castaway desert island vibe. In this area of the Bali / Lombok region you can take advantage of all the islands have to offer, including world-class snorkeling on vibrant reefs, diving, swimming in turquoise waters and relaxing on fine white sandy beaches. 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Graduate
The Zuna Yoga 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, Camboida and Thailand is offered as a 22 day " yoga teacher training intensive." We have a lot of material to cover to meet our course requirements, and have created a schedule that while challenging, will also allow students enough time to rest, play, and study. Students will have six days of training, followed by one day off; then 6 days of training followed by one day off; then 7 days more of training until completion of the program.
A typical 200 hour yoga teacher training day begins with a group morning practice at sunrise. This is a powerful time of day to set your intention and get shakti moving through the body. The practice will include asana, pranayama, and meditation. After morning class we enjoy a nutritious breakfast. Once we're all hydrated and nourished, we reconvene for morning lecture, which lasts two to three hours until lunchtime. Lectures are where we cover much of the intellectual content of the course as required by the yoga Alliance yoga teacher training certification guidelines for the 200 hour yoga teacher training certification. This includes anatomy, philosophy of yoga, the energetic body, and much more.
Students break for a couple hours of lunch (included with all-inclusive packages). After lunch we meet again for lecture, practice teaching, and our afternoon group class / workshop. The day finishes at around 6pm so everyone can enjoy a few hours of their preferred leisure activity and dinner (included with all-inclusive yoga teacher training packages), as well as squeeze in some journaling. You'll want to make note of all the creative bursts you'll experience during this 200 hour yoga teacher training intensive.
With weeks of continuous study, our 200 hour yoga teacher training courses are considered a “ Yoga Teacher Training Intensive” for both the RYT200 and Yoga Alliance certification RYT500 Yoga Alliance certifications. There is no better way to go deeper, faster into the vast sea of yogic tradition, especially in regards to its practice. We can spend our free time in normal life studying philosophy and asana, but the deepest and most bountiful techniques require uninterrupted and dedicated practice in a way that is almost impossible to achieve if we try to tend to usual daily affairs on the side. Being sequestered from normal everyday concerns, social groups and responsibilities allows you the freedom and space for a rewarding inward journey.
